Speeduino 0.4.4d case - Slide in place - Centronics connector

Quick and easy case I made for Speeduino 0.4.4d; PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
 

I made this case around the card I bought on eBay (seller is minimarket_maxiofferte), item can be found here : https://shorturl.at/fotyP

It's important, because the case is designed for the board to slide in, tuck nicely in place, and hold securely once the box is closed and screwed; I can't garantee the fitment for another board !

What you'll need :

• 36 pins Centronics connector (bought mine on Aliexpress) 
• 4* M3 recessed nuts
• 4* M3 tappered screws
• Dupont cables

Good to know :

• The case in itself can be printed in 1 or 2 parts, according to ease of print and/or preference. Don't forget the lid.
• If printed in 2 parts, just glue them together.
• I made vents in the case, to avoid any heat buildup, so it's definitely not waterproof and should live inside your cabin rather than engine bay.
• PETG is better suited for automotive use, altough it shouldn't be exposed to engine heat (see point above) and PLA could somehow be used. Beware of case distortion tho.
• Centronics connectors are pretty sturdy, and easy to unplug; look it up.

Not so good to know :

• I did include tabs on the case, so you can somehow manage to fix it in the car with zip ties; but no standard pattern, no nice screw pattern, no nothing. Zip ties FTW; good luck !
• I had issue while printing the case, it cracked around the front of the “board trench”, and I didn't bother to thicken the piece, so it might crack on yours as well;
• If printed in one piece, it's a mess with the plethora of supports;
• If printed in two piece, it's a mess with the glue between the parts;
• I designed it without any CAD skill. Just luck and educated guess.

But, don't worry, despite all this, it does the job ! :)
