A mount to allow you to clip and clamp into place a pair of Bose Companion 5 speakers onto a desk-mounted monitor arm pole.

This is designed to use the original screw that mounts the speaker to the stock stand. I found these stands to be far too tall and for a while used a different set of 3D printed feet. Eventually I wanted to get the speakers off of the desk and give me opportunity to tidy up some cables, so I designed this simple clamp.

This was printed in PLA (Elegoo grey PLA+) and when printed flat the plastic was flexible enough to clip it onto the pole without needing to remove the monitor arm. Please let me know in the comments whether your experience differs!

To fit the clip:

  1. Screw the mount to the speaker using the original screw. There are grooves and hole in the design to aid in the positioning of the screw and screwdriver.
  2. Push the clamp into place on the monitor arm pole. This is designed to fit on a monitor arm which is just over 35mm in diameter. I have two different desk-mounted monitor arms from different manufacturers and both had the same diameter, so I'm hoping that this should be fairly universal.
  3. Once the mount has clipped into place secure the back of the clip with an M5x20 bolt and appropriate nut (longer bolts should work, I'm not sure you could go much shorter though).

Please let me know if it works for you, and if you find any problems I'll do my best to rectify them if possible.
