I made this tool after getting a used 2018 Sierra Denali that must've been owned by a hamfisted degenerate; all of the cigarette lighter covers had been ripped off and broken. Finding this tool (Dorman 56457) was needed to remove the cigarette lighters, but cost $17, I wondered if I couldn't just 3D print the same shape. On only my second attempt (a personal best for me), I got it just right and was able to remove and reinstall 3 cigarette lighters with the piece I printed.
I just printed this with some cheapo Sunlu PLA at 0.07 mm layer height, and 20% Gyroid infill and 3 perimeters, and was able to get through all 3 without an issue. If I was going to do it again, or I needed to do more than a few of these, I would probably print it in PETG at 20% but 4 perimeters. I added both the .3mf and .f3d files so you're welcome to remix or modify as necessary.
