Springy Magnet Joystick Fidget Toy

Springy joystick fidget toy. Joystick does not return to center, but is fun to push in while playing with.

Hardware: 2 strong disc magnets 2mm thick and 8mm in diameter.

Print settings:

• .12 mm layer height
• Supports recommended.

Before installing magnets I recommend screwing the base in and out a few times to smooth things out for when the magnet is in place. It might be necessary to use a coin or some other tool with the slot in the bottom of the base to tighten/loosen the base.

Install magnets so they push away from each other. A drop of glue might be necessary to hold the magnets in place, though they should keep each other in place as they push on each other.

Once magnets are installed the base screws into place. The firmness of the spring action can be tuned a bit by tightening or loosening the base.
