I've decided to buy the Superlux HD681 Headphones and mod them to use a detachable cable with them (and with the V-Moda BoomPro Microphone). I didn't find any tutorials on how to do this so I decided to do this on my own. I've bought stereo 3.5 mm female jack adapters for soldering, removed the core from it and designed this custom housing for it to fit on the HD681's.

I used those ones for soldering:

Pry the top with the writing off and unscrew the cap to get access to the wiring.

First solder the cables to the port, put the cables through the opening in the back and slide the port into the housing. Use glue if it's too loose.

Printed in PETG and PLA. Print horizontally, put supports where you wish (you shouldn't need any as long as you lower the model just enough so it touches the bed), the built-in support needs to be snipped off after printing.
