This is my take on the popular Copepod hideout that hopefully aims to increase printability while maintaining a safe and accessible sanctuary for Copepods when placed in a reef tank.
This is version one, and I recommend increasing perimeters so the bridging has a good anchor and to run it a bit hotter and slower for excellent adhesion to help prevent gaps in the walls. I am planning on making a version 2 with vertical travel tunnels based on feed back from the person I printed this off for. Version 2 will also have larger chamfers on the tunnels to further improve printability. I haven't printed the round version but have looked at the preview in my slicer and it looks fine, maybe a bit more difficult than the square version.
I have done some research and the person I printed this for agreed that Petg seems to be fine for use in saltwater aquariums but I urge you to do your own research into reef forums and make your own determination. I printed using Hatchbox Petg and it has held up well so far.
