Do you hate your large Mazda key fob – and detest the mess of jangling keys and keychains in your pocket – as much as I do? Of course not, because I'm the only weirdo that decided to make this thing. That said, you're still welcome to make one too.
This model is a compact case replacement for the circuit board from the inside of a ~2020+ Mazda key fob. It includes an integral AirTag holder and KeySmart/KeyBar/KeyPort-style key organizer. This makes for an especially EDC-friendly carry package. No annoying jangles! It carries easily in a pocket or even a multitool sheath, as it is similar in overall size to a Leatherman FREE P2 and many others.
Note: you will need to conjure a way for the upper side of the CR2032 battery to make contact with the PCB. I elected to simply solder a short wire to a thin ring terminal as pictured.
Get creative: along with your keys, you can even consider adding alternate implements to create a key-fob multitool. YubiKey, USB flash drive, etc. For example, a combination that works well, thickness-wise, is to put two keys on the upper corner and a YubiKey 5C down below.
I recommend 0.1 mm layers. Supports are handy for the cover plate and button holes only.

I used this very clever design's excellent-fitting AirTag contour, and heavily adapted it for my own purposes.
