When dealing with lots of spools and especially with refill filaments, sooner or later you will find yourself with a tangled spool which can only be saved by respooling the filament. So I was looking for a quick and easy solution to rewind the spool with a power drill and found this adaptive design which should fit any spool. There are some other models with printed axis and hex/bit adapters, but I think they're not strong enough and wear out pretty quickly, so I went with steel…
All you need is a M8 or M10 threaded bolt and some hex nuts.
Printed in PLA or PETG with 0,2mm. No supports required. The shown model is the M10 version printed in Prusament PETG Prusa Orange.
I created the hex insert with SVG layers, so if you want to slice it yourself make shure to use Prusaslicer v2.7 or higher:

The author remixed this model.
Took the center piece and adapted it for M8 and M10 screws and added two extra layers for an easier print without supports.
