After creating a hexagon-style drip-platform for the Delonghi EC685 (to published yet), a hexagon-style tamping station must be created.
For my portafilter the fit is quite snug. If you want a more snug/loose fit, or your portafilter has slightly different dimensions, you may scale the model slightly.
The chamfer on the front is needed to work with my grinder.
Watch out, there are 2 bodies in the .3mf file, one main and one modifier body.
Open as “import 3D models only”.
If you dont want the open hexagon structure or dont know how to set the modifier in your slicer, just delete the modifier body and get a closed small hexagon.
To get the open hexagon structure in the additional small hexagon, use the second body as a modifier with no top, 4 perimeters, no bottom layer, 10% honeycomb infill.
If necessary, paint seams on one of the inside corners.
The fit of this version is based on my following model:

To remove the filter from the holder, just use ur thumb to lever against the holder and pull the filter up.
Printed on Anycubic Kobra 2 Pro.
