Summary

Whistles with a Turbine, STEM Play

This project is a play on a previous whistle project. What will happen if one adds a turbine, with a varying number of blades, to an existing whistle? Well, it does not sound like a whistle anymore. It still makes some interesting sounds. All in all, it is an interesting design project to show STEM connections.

To make a whistle, one needs a body, a turbine, and a snap-on cover. A touch of lubricant to the inside of the turbine may improve spinning. A touch of superglue might be helpful for a permanent assembly.
