I realy liked the design by NOT your favorite engineer. It is very stable and needs a relativly low amount of filament, in relation to its sice. Since I own an XL, I though it would be even better if it would be two pieces instead of four per box. This makes it hold even better and the rolls cannot slip in between the pieces. For that I had to slightly redesign the lid, such that it opens to the outside. My model needs about 90g filament per part, so 180g per box. On the XL you can print up to 5 of these in one go.
The author remixed this model.
Merged the two pieces into one, re-designed the lids. Re-worked the tolerances of the container and the lids for a tighter fit.
