PLEASE read the full instructions BEFORE you start printing anything. This is not a professional grade project. You will have to compensate for my lack of experience making something like that and adjust depending on the results of your printer.
What you will need:
- 24 x 5mm Yellow LEDs
- 9v Battery
- 9v Battery connector
- a 2cm x 6mm sliding switch

- Wires
- PLA Plastic, ideally white
- A deburring tool
- A hot glue gun
- 1mm padded tape
Issues with this project:
- The fit of the window frames is very tight. See instructions to compensate below
- The windows slide VERY easily out of the window frames. I used the 1mm padded tape to stop them from sliding out.

- To fit the walls together is a bit tricky. There is no really good hook & latch designed.
How to assemble:
- Print all parts, some of them several times.
24 x Windows (Use organic supports)
24 x WindowFrame (Use normal supports)
4 x Wall
2 x Frame
The rest only once. The RoofFrame is optional, see below.
Print the writing with a color change so that the backplate is white and the letters are red. - Paint everything to your liking.
- Fit the WindowFrames into the 4 Walls. You might have to deburr the corners off the WindowFrames to make it fit. Glue the Window Frames in.
- Fit the 5mm LEDs into the upper hole in the Windowframes. Secure the LEDs from the back with hot glue.
- Solder all LEDs together for each Wall so that you have only 2 wires for all LEDs per wall. (All blacks together, all Reds together)
- Glue the Walls together. They should fit so that the WindowFrames touch each other. The left border of each wall will overlap on the right edge of the Wall on it's left. Use The Frames to make sure it all sits square. See picture below.
- Solder the wires of the 4 walls together so that you again have only 2 wires left, one black, one red. I used some multi-wired connectors to make everything easier.

- Glue the Floor below the walls. The 4 pegs are the upside and help align the walls.
- Glue the RoofTiles to the Roof. Glue both at the same time to make sure there is little gap on the top as possible. Make sure you have the Chimney hole aligned
- See how the Roof Fits on the walls. By design, one Frame is supposed to fit into the roof and overlap enough to fit inbetween the walls. When I assembled mine, the diameter between two opposing walls was too small, so I created the “RoofFrame” Part to make sure it fits. The wider part of the RoofFrame fits into the roof. So whichever fits yours, glue either a “Frame” or a “RoofFrame” into the roof. DO NOT GLUE THE ROOF TO THE WALLS.
- Fit the BatteryFrame into the roof. Again you might have to cut/deburr the corners to make it fit. Glue it in.
- Glue the small writing tiles into the windows. Careful, the 6 and 9 are identical. Make sure you turn it the right way.
- Glue the Xmas sign to the Front of the Batterydrawer.
- Screw the sliding switch into the Batterydrawer.
- Lead the LED wire through the hole in the BatteryFrame and the drawer.
Optional:
Print the interior template.ai or PDF, draw a house interior, cut out the holes for the lamps and decorate your 24 rooms!
