I picked up a CYD after seeing some videos online regarding them, and decided to whip together some enclosures. There are several pre-existing that may be a better fit for your use, so please do check them out, but here's a few more.

Some general notes,

  • I'm continuing to experiment with not using screws, so that's why, if you're wondering.
  • The pen holder is quite firm. I've printed in PETG and I'm hoping it withstands frequent use but I recognise the ledge is a weak point.
  • The interfacing between top and bottom halves seems good; not difficult to pry apart intentionally but otherwise secure. I can lift the case by the top half while the CYD is installed, and the bottom remains securely attached.

    • The only opening here is for the micro-usb connection.
  • TODO: full.stl
    • All ports are available.
  • TODO: sv06Mount.stl
    • A bracket for mounting CYD enclosures to the Sovol SV06.
