Inspired by my annoyance with spills and splatters during cooking, coupled with the challenge of finding a convenient spot for the cooking spoon without creating a mess, I crafted this spoon holder. Specifically designed to transform your kitchen into a symphony of efficiency and elegance!

This holder isn't just about practicality; it's a statement piece that effortlessly marries functionality and flair. Its sleek design not only cradles your favorite cooking spoons but also adds a touch of sophistication to your culinary haven.

Engineered with a spherical inlay, this culinary companion ensures that any spills or drips are gracefully contained, making cleanup a swift and stress-free affair.

Hint: Place it next to your coffee machine and place used spoons inside for re-use.

Print settings

I recommend minimum layer height of 0.20 mm. A fill density of minimum 15% works well. However a higher fill density will provide better stability

For optical reasons set the seam position to rear.

Supports and Brim are not required.

Add some rubber feet at the base to prevent sliding

Optional Print Settings

Print the base in a different color (ie. color change at layer 101 at if you are printing at a 0.2mm resolution) to get a nice contrast.

To provide more weight to the base I also added a “Height range Modifier” (Start Hight  “0mm”, Stop Height “20mm” at 0.2 layer hight in Prusa Slicer. I then added an Infill Density of 100% (you can choose whatever infill density you prefer) with a Rectilinear fill pattern:

HINT: Add some rubber feet to the base to prevent slipping.

Thx & Enjoy!

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Print with PETG for food-safety (PLEASE READ BELOW) and/or anything that provides heat resistance if you want to clean it in the dishwasher for hygienic reasons. I haven't tried to clean any of my prints in the dishwasher and generally use hot water and dishwashing soap.
