1/2" pipe connectors for project builds including filament rack

Half inch pipe connectors to build projects including a filament rack.

The half inch pipe is available from home centers in 10 feet lengths, external diameter is 21mm  internal diameter is 15mm. In the US it retails for about $5/10 ft.

For a basic rack I used:

• 4*16cm pieces of ½" pipe - side horizontals
• 4*50cm ½" pipe - front and back horizontals
• 4*22cm ½" pipe - corner up rights 
• 2*4 point connectors (used as connectors at the bottom and hold the rack off the floor
• 2*3 point connectors (second level connectors)

These are the pieces for a two level rack but I've made additional levels up to 4 in one rack by printing 4 point connectors.

The fit is pretty snug on purpose and I used a de-burring tool to ease off the inside cuts of the pipe. I've also noticed that different manufactures have slightly different sizes so some fits are tighter. May be worth printing one sample and scaling if the fit isn't good.
