Description

PDF

This is a lightweight, parametric darts case designed to be printed in vase mode. The SCAD file produces one STL file that needs to be split up and printed seperately.

Measure your darts as shown in one of the photos. Edit the SCAD file with your measurements and add 2-3 millimeters to the measurements for clearence.

Instructions

Darts case

Print in vase mode with 0 bottom layers. If you have problems with adhesion, you may want to experiment with brim or have your slicer extrude more filament on the first layer.

Cover

Print in vase mode with as many bottom layers as needed to match the cover_thickness parameter in the SCAD file.

Notes

The model should already be in the best orientation for printing.

Tested with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height. You may want to experiment with line width and increased extrusion multiplier for added strength.

Total print time on my Ender 5 plus was around 45 minutes with approximately 20 grams of filament used.
