I am proud to present my most intricate model yet: the Tongue Depressor prop for clinical simulation.
This model can be utilized as a diagnostic tool; however, please keep in mind that it is not a certified medical instrument. It has been specifically designed for clinical simulation purposes.
For those interested in food safety, it’s worth noting that food-safe 3D printing filaments include materials such as PLA, PP, co-polyester, PET, PET-G, HIPS, and nylon-6, along with certain brands of ABS, ASA, and PEI.
The standard thickness of a tongue depressor is approximately 1.6 mm. However, this thickness may be too soft for a 3D-printed model, so I have also included an alternative version with a thickness of 2.2 mm for added durability.
I hope you enjoy using this model, and if you feel inclined, consider supporting my efforts by buying me a cup of hot chocolate!
