Soldering Iron Desk Tray

Small tray to keep your soldering iron out of the way, but always at hand. 
 

I printed mine in ABS in order to be able to weld the two parts together at the joints with some Acetone to create a sturdy and permanent connection. Additionally, ABS is more temperature resistant than for example PLA which is desireable as the iron might get warm after prolonged use, even on the plastic shell.

For mounting to the table, I simply used some heavy-duty double-sided tape.

I uploaded two versions of the tray, one with slots for the soldering iron tips included (they are smaller) and one with slots for the heat-set insert tip set from Thurmberg3D.
