Makita Soldering Station

Take your soldering iron anywhere! No longer will you be tied to the constrains of needing an outlet to complete your electronics project! Perfect for cosplayers who need a last minute fix or mechanics working in tight spaces. 

To complete this project you will need to source the following items:

• Soldering stand (Available from Amazon)
• Compatible power cord for your iron
• approx. 1mm thick metal for battery connectors
• Rocker Switch (I recommend this one from Amazon)
• M3 threaded inserts and screws
• Misc. wire
• Female spade terminals

Assembly should be a breeze as everything should fit together. A little glue may be necessary in, I used some CA Glue to hold the battery terminal to the sliding part itself. I connected the switch to turn the station on and off to the negative side of the circuit. If you like to use a sponge to clean your tip when you solder feel free to print that model!
