The v2 model was composed of over 100 individual pieces, which slicers don't handle so well. This one has all of those pieces recombined into a single, hollow structure. It's still not properly manifold, but it behaves fine in slic3r.
Some of the thin parts still need to be thickened up considerably, and some additional supportive bits need to be added to the model to strengthen some of the weaker parts.
The AMF contains a large support block, index marks, and a "sacrificial wall", all plated properly and presets added for dual extrusion. The blend file contains the multi-piece model, the combined version, and a second copy of the combined version placed inside the support mold, with "index" objects added to both for positioning accuracy.
Note that you will want to print the support object as sparsely as your filament allows, but with ample solid interface surfaces, to avoid it tearing itself apart.
The support block contains a fair amount of excess/unneeded material as I was kinda lazy when making it. :-)
