Scylla Ergonomic Keyboard

A modern low-profile ergonomic split keyboard, with a number row and a feature-full thumb cluster.

Print instructions

Recommended settings:

  • PLA - prusament and fillamentum work well
  • 0.15mm layer height
  • Parts oriented towards the bottom
  • Supports on - either grid or tree

Overall I used the default 0.15mm Quality profile on my MK3s and it printed fine, so you can start from there.

You will need the following parts:

  • Case (one regular, one mirror)
  • Plate (one regular, one mirror)
  • Optional: tent (one regular, one mirror)

Required hardware

For wiring the keyboard, you have a few different options:

  • Handwire everything - using cables
  • Source the flexible PCBs - from eg. JLCPCB. The Gerber files are in the release section of the respective github repositories

For controllers, we recommend using a splinktegrated or splinky. You may also use a different controller, the list of compatible ones is here: https://docs.bastardkb.com/hw/rp2040-community.html
