I got tired of getting dribbles of oil on the top of the engine every time I change the oil, so I decided to make a funnel specific to my needs.

this one twists to lock onto the engine so you don't need to hold it.

I have used this on a 2.0TDI golf (BKD) and R36 3.6l Passat (BWS) and it works fairly well. It could be tighter on the R36, but then it wouldn't do up on the golf.

It “features” vent holes that line up with the cutouts in the engine cover to vent out air, and it seems you can really load it up to get the oil in there faster than a normal funnel, without spilling it everywhere.

It could do with more development, but it works pretty well as is and I only need the one. it could probably be a fraction smaller without affecting performance.

Let me know if you want me to design a screw on cap for each end - so you don't need to clean it before use.

Print upside down and you can get away without supports, but its not a bad idea to add them under the locking lugs.
