One of two blade release tabs on my Black and Decker Slim Grip electric carving knife broke, making the blades difficult to remove. I disassembled the knife and extracted the two release parts (one broken, one unbroken), and took measurements from the unbroken one.

I reproduced the part in Fusion 360, printed it using a Prusa i3 Mk 2.5 printer in PLA with 0.1mm layer height and 100% infill. I was concerned that PLA might not be strong enough and was prepared to reprint the part using PETG but so far it seems to be holding up.

The first photo shows the two original grey parts (one broken) and the white replacement I printed. The remaining photos show the parts being re-installed in the knife and the knife model.

I have no idea if anyone might be able to make use of this model as it's pretty specialized, but I've uploaded it in the hope that it might help someone.

Added a v5 version with increased clearances, which works better when replacing both tabs.
