My son and I are working to refurbish my old Omnibot that I received as a Christmas present in the early 1980s.  Both of the upper arm linkages were broken on my robot, and with a new 3D printer for Christmas, this is one of the projects we started.

Each arm has two linkages.  The lower linkage has a gap cut into it in order to allow the arm to fully retract without colliding with the upper linkage.  Special attention needs to be paid to which way you install the these as the inner dimensions of the attach points are different.   The more rounded side of the attach point should be toward the torso, while the flatter side should be outward.  If there is enough interest, I may try to add the greebles from the original linkage.

I printed mine in PETG, as this material will flex more than PLA before breaking.
