Simple holder to make the centre drills I keep around my Chinese mini lathe tidy and accessible. The hook section is shaped to fit over the angled top edge of the chip tray / splash guard.
The model was drawn in Design Spark Mechanical 6.0 and sliced with PrusaSlicer 2.7.1.
Printed on a Creality Ender 5 S1 in around 2 hours and 9 mins, using around 7.5m of 1.75mm PLA filament when set to 5% gyroid infill with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height.
Printing with the ‘holes down’ orientation means supports are not required (relies on good adhesion to the textured PEI build plate though). I guess bed slinger may need a brim.
I’ve no doubt it could be done much faster, but my preference is to dial everything back to get a decent print first time, rather than wasting filament on failures just to push the envelope.
