After multiple breaks of the original cheap plastic blinds retainer / clips (e.g., these HDB-17), I tried some existing 3D printed options. Unfortunately, the peg which interfaces with the blinds ended up being the weak point.
Enter the “hardcore” version here. I embedded a M4 hex nut and used a M4*10mm screw in place of the plastic post. The head of the screw is mostly countersunk in the body, and I also upped the thickness of the bracket itself. Designed to use the existing holes and screws from the original clips
Printed with additional walls and higher infill for added durability.
