This is a new version of my original Nintendo NES cartridge extractor that used a plyers design. This version has an over center style latch, thanks to Adam Cook, on it making it easier to extract. If your printer is up to the challenge there is a print in place version. This is the preferred construction method, but not all of my printers are up to the task of printing this.
This is designed to aid people with arthritis (like me) to extract carts from an NES with a blinking light win modified cartridge port (especially the original version has a death grip on the cartridges and take a lot of finger grip strength to get out). This version currently only has the griper for Nintendo cartridges, but check out my original for Tengen and Codemaster style grippers. I plan addition Cart gripers to this design in the future so stay tuned.
There are two other versions available (both will require on the bed supports). They both are assembled using 7 M3x6mm screws. One version is for using M3 inserts like these.
The author remixed this model.
Modified to have a fixed clamping distance and added the same grippers as used on my original extractor.
