Last year I baught an ePropulsion VAQUITA electric motor system for my stand-up paddle board. Works great, that little thing - with one downside: When the motor is switched on, stability in water is great, but when is switched off the stability during paddling is not sufficient (in my point of view… at least).
The stabilizing function of a fin is missing in opinion. This is why I asked the guys from ePropulsion (thanks again, folks!) for the 3D model of the VAQUITA and added a design around it for an extra fin to get more stabilization during paddling with motor switched off.
Add supports and brim for better printing stability.
I tried PLA and TPU ( seems a little more applicable, if somewhat flexible, I guess. )
20-30% infill should be good.
