The handle on my Dewalt 14" chop saw stripped out. This replaces the plastic parts without the ratchet.

I could not remove the blade from my chopsaw when the handle tork mechanism stripped out.  I had to pri the black plastic handle off to reveal a planetary gear system.  Luckily I found all three little planet gears.  The replacement is $25 from Amazon, but I was able to reuse the metal gears and get back in business with this build.  Granted, getting it back together was tricky, but to my surprize, it actually works!  I did not replicate the tork mechanism, so be careful not to over tighten.

After you print the part, insert the fat end of the sun gear into the part (hammer may help).  Oil the retaining clips and coax together while keeping the clips even (parallell to the back).  Keep turning the gears untill Mecury aligns with Mars and hopefully finally…. walla!  It will slide together.
