Solder fume extractor

The smoke generated during soldering is mainly due to the burning of flux, which contains halogen compounds and is said to be harmful to the human body.
Therefore, I have created a fume extractor.
はんだ付けの際に発生する煙は主にフラックスが燃えることによるものであり、これはハロゲン化合物を含んでいて人体に有害だと言われているそうです。
そこで吸煙器を作成しました。

All parts are shown in the following picture.
The power cord and finger guard are attached to the fan. M3x10 bolts are used at this time.
全ての部品を揃えたのが以下の写真です。
ファンには電源コードとフィンガーガードを取り付けてあります。この時にM3x10のボルトを使います。

I used the following model for the cable reel. I chose the LARGE size because it is a power cord.
ケーブルリールには以下のモデルを使いました。電源コードなのでlargeサイズを選びました。

I use insulock to secure the power cord so that there is no stress on the power cord.
電源コードにストレスがかからないようにインシュロックで固定しています。

I used the following HEPA filter. You don't have to use this one, just find an appropriate one.
HEPAフィルターは以下のものを使いました。これでなくても構わないので、適切なものを探してください。

Place this between the non-woven fabric and secure with staples. Then cut it to fit the size of the "filter case". I cut the four corners to avoid the fixing holes.
これを不織布で挟んで、ホチキスで固定します。その後で「filter case」の大きさに合わせてカットします。固定穴を避けるように四隅をカットしました。

When you use it, the HEPA filter will be placed on top of the "frame".
使う時は「frame」の上にHEPAフィルターを配置する形になります。

Cover the "filter case" on top of the "frame". Orient the hexagonal holes so that they align with the "frame.
その上に「filter case」を被せます。六角穴が「frame」と合うように向きを揃えてください。

Place the "spacer" on top of it. This is necessary to prevent the fan blades from contacting the filter case.
その上に「spacer」を配置します。これはファンの羽が「filter case」と接触しないようにする為に必要な部品です。

When assembling, turn the whole unit over with the fan facing down and secure it using M3x20 bolts and nuts.
組み立てる時はファンを下にして全体をひっくり返します。M3x20のボルトとナットを使って固定してください。
