I made this model to fix a littlest pet shop toy/collectible as the ones we had, the inner plastic piece that holds the body to the head broke. This replacement part will fit in the hole of the head of the littlest pet shop and can be used with a mechanical pencil spring.
The finished result will feel similar to the original part but depending on the spring used, it might be stiffer to rotate.
You might notice it doesn’t have the holes on the side, I think these aren’t really necessary from what I’ve tested, other than for saving up on plastic and risking the part from being weak.
I made a second version (V2) as to see if it fixed the problem with the stiffness when rotating by making the hole where the spring goes wider, but I haven't tested it. Please let me know on the comments so I can make any adjustments to the model.
I've also included instructions for the process of replacing this piece if needed.
I printed these at 0.16mm without a problem. I recommend flipping the piece upside down (hole pointing the bed/down) and using supports for better overhangs so it prints accurately. And 15% of infill seems to be sturdy and resourceful enough
Please write a comment and let me know if this fixed or not your problem so I can make fixes or changes.
