You no longer need to rely on pricey store-bought springs or cannibalizing your old mags to complete your 3d printed projects. With this device you can make your own bespoke, boutique, homegrown springs.

USE SAFETY GOGGLES! There is a lot of tension and sharp ends.
V2 is a simpler file and uses a smooth centre rod and glue rather than threads.
You will need spring wire, music wire, or piano wire. It is available in stainless steel or regular carbon steel. You can buy it cheaply on AliExpress or Amazon. Read the reviews some listings are not spring steel.
I used 0.6mm wire. Paintballs require very thin wires, so they do not get squished. First Strike rounds generally use thicker wire.

You can change all of dimensions for the spring in the Parameters menu.
Drastic changes that are too big or too small tend to break the model. Remember that this tool is intended for mag-fed paintball so other springs may be out of it's scope.
Steps
Enter you desired dimensions in the parameters. If you wish you can label the tool by changing the text in the last two sketches in the timeline. I list the wire size, diameter of spring and the pitch. If the mandrel is too tall for your printer use your slicers cut tool and divide it accordingly. Then glue the pieces together using the centre rod for strength and alignment.
Thanks
If you have a configuration that works for you share the STLs as a remix or user print files. List the wire size, spring diameter and pitch. As well as the mags you are using the springs in. I am happy to take feedback and help anyone who asks.
