The mounting bracket is designed to seamlessly match the side profile slope of the Ikea Hilver tabletop. It needs two countersunk wood screws per bracket to attach to the tabletop. In case of the outer brackets, the screw holes match the tabletop's pre-drilled holes.
I specifically didn't want a fixed mounting to be able to quickly move the tabletop for cleaning underneath and additionally to not damage the Ikea Alex drawers by screws or adhesives. Thus this mount only restricts sideway motion of the tabletop and allows for quick removal by just lifting it a bit.
Of course you could get away using only a single set of mounts diagonally, but I chose to print two sets for a cleaner look. The brackets were printed in PLA and provide a very snug fit. Although I did not have an Ikea Anfallare tabletop to test this mount on, it seems to be the same product as my old Hilver tabletop.
I also added a second “pointy” version of this mount in case you prefer that look (HilverAlexMountPointy.stl). The photos show the “flat” variant (HilverAlexMountFlat.stl).
