Creality Ender 3 X-Gantry Linear Guide Rail Bracket CAD

CAD and diagrams for the X-gantry bracket that mounts to the MGN12C rail from the official Creality Ender 3 linear guide rail kit (https://store.creality.com/products/linear-guide-rail-kit). 

This model is not intended to be printed. It is intended to facilitate the design of hotend shrouds and accessories that need to be mounted to the original steel plate.

Notes

• The model was created by manual caliper measurements. While the measured feature positions are reasonable, round values, manufacturing methods may introduce deviations and your kit may vary from this design.
• A test file is provided that may be printed to easily check the position of features on your kit. This print contains a built-in offset for the hotend mount pegs, so no fiddling with horizontal expansion should be necessary.
• This repo does not include the Sprite extruder bracket.
• There are two hole types used in this bracket. The 2.5 mm holes are tapped with an M3 thread. The 3.5 mm holes are clean through holes.
• The original Fusion 360 model contains the original sketches and the test print body. Additionally, a STEP file is provided to import into other modeling software.
