A little exercise to practice the modeling techniques as in the video below. This boomerang is not all that different from my previous designs, but since it worked quite nicely right off the bat, I decided to publish it.

It has a surprisingly long range for a boomerang that is not hook- or omega-shaped, i.e., does not have a large inscribed circle. Throw not too high and with a bit of layover.

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

**Infill:** 25%

Notes:

Use 4-6 perimeters and top and bottom layers, respectively. Fewer than that and it might be too light and possibly not stiff enough. Make sure it lies flat when coming off the build plate; boomerangs like to warp downwards after printing. If so, that must be corrected by bending and possibly applying a little heat.

How I Designed This =================== Made in Blender 2.9.x. The outline started out as a Bezier circle. Unfortunately in Blender you'll have to convert it to a polygon mesh at some point, and then you lose the nice modeling workflow of the Bezier curves.
