Designed in Fusion and printed on a Mk4. Fixed the unit to a ¼ inch base which was cut out of a larger piece to function as a jig for easy alignment within a S1.
Printed in PLA with 4 perimeters and 20% infill with input shaper.
Support required only for the main base arms. Used Prusa slicer to dovetail split the base to print in 2 parts. Designed for M6 bolts with 10mm nuts (4 of each required). Can either be hex or round head bolts (files included to suit both); I used 60mm bolts from Amazon.
The feet have screw holes to allow for fixing to a desk, but I ended up gluing them to the wood base.
Construction; Glue the nuts into the arms. Glue or push fit the appropriate bolt head thumb screw onto the bolt. Thread the bolt through the arm, place the ball sleeve over the bolt (narrower end towards the arm) then place the ball onto the bolt. Depending on print tolerances you may be able to screw the ball onto the bolt, or may need some glue. Once complete, press the sleeve into the foot and fix with your preferred glue. After that it is up to you how to use it!
The author remixed this model.
Original only lifted one end and I wanted to have support on either side of the RA2.
