Adjustment wheels and sprint spacers for the ender 3 s1 plus.

These models solves the following issues:

  1. Spring compression to low when adjusting the heatbed due to it hitting the y-axis motor when compressing the springs to stabilze the heatbed.
  2. Stock adjustment wheels unscrewing themselves during printing, changing the bed level and in some cases falling off completely.

Both models have been printed in PLA with a 0.6 nozzle at 0.3 layer height without any issues.

The adjustment wheels requires a M4 locknut or an M4 nut. If using the m4 nut it might not solve the issue with the wheels unscrewing. I use a simply nyloc M4 locknut.

If using a locknut you might need a nut holding the bed screw in place to avoid it spinning around unless you have access to the screw below the magnetic pad.

My personal solution to accessing the Philips head on the screw was to cut a hole in the magnetic plate just above the screw. Applying pressure from below to see the location and then using a sharp knife to cut a hole.

The steel plates still attaches fine without issues. But I do have a glass plate on top on mine due to the warped surface of the magnet.

The glass plate on mine is just attached to the steel plate with some electrical tape, and then it's removable just as easily as the normal build plate, and allows for using both glass and the steel plates with pei if I should ever feel like it.

Update 04/02-2024:
Added spacers for use with 16mm silicone instead of springs as well.
