Pond pump adapter fitting (joins 1" NPT to 2" PVC slip fitting)

A custom coupling for Vivosun (and similar) pond pumps with a 1" (nominal) male NPT threaded outlet, to connect to a 2" (nominal) PVC rubber coupling with a hose clamp.

One side is a 1" FPT, and the other side is a 2" PVC slip fitting. Note that since these are nominal sizes:

• A 1" NPT thread actually tapers from ~1.2" to ~1.25". See https://www.engineersedge.com/hardware/taper-pipe-threads.htm for more details.

Print in something tough like PETG, with small layer heights (recommend 0.12mm) and plenty of wall loops (recommend 4) and sufficient infill such that you can tighten the fitting without risk of damage. My adapter fitting screws on with perfect thread engagement.
