Hello everyone,

I am excited to share that I am delving into the hobby of printing and designing. This journey began after noticing my father’s expanding collection of CDs.

I have developed a model consisting of two layers (when using a 0.2mm nozzle) that fits securely into your collection of discs. You can conveniently download the file, print it, and use it to organize your carefully curated albums. You may import the design into a 3D modeling software like Fusion 360 and incorporate printed lettering for added customization.

I encourage you to share your organized collection by posting a photo of your completed project! I recommend using the MoreHexCDOrganizer for your printing needs, and be sure to allow it to cool after printing to prevent warping.

This model is also an excellent choice for testing your initial layer, bed adhesion, and surface quality. Happy printing!

EDIT:

I've noticed that both of these models take a long time to print, even with the added negative mass from the hexagons. I'm currently working on a new version that should be available soon. This version will utilize PrusaSlicer's infill feature as an alternative to manually adding hexagons, which can be quite cumbersome. The update will offer more customization options for patterns, design placements, and infill density, all while making the printing process faster and more tailored to your preferences and needs.
