A sturdy spacer to move your Fanatec ClubSport Handbrake V 1.5 farther out from your shifter or other mounting point. There is zero wobble due to the large contact surface.
Change Z height to the dimensions you want. By default, the part is 20mm wide which is sufficient to prevent my hand (large glove size) from scraping on the handbrake when shifting up to 6th gear, with a bit of a safety buffer. It's a bit tight for shifting to 7th gear – rare with the cars I drive – but still much better than the normal spacing. It's a compromise as I prefer to keep the handbrake as close as possible.
If you want to use 7th gear comfortably with zero risk of scraping your knuckles on the handbrake, I recommend printing it 30mm or wider.
As for screws a general rule of thumb is to use screws 10mm longer than the part width. For example, for a 20mm wide spacer, use 30mm M5 screws. For a 30mm wide spacer, use 40mm M5 screws, etc.
Mine was printed in PolyTerra Charcoal Black PLA. The finish almost looks like the powder-coated metal of the handbrake and the Sim-Lab shifter mounting plate on my rig. If you have that filament it's a great choice for that!
