“Make it pink,” they said!

Very good for my sovol 6 plus.

Thank you

Printed in Giantarm ABS+ Waterblue. Thanks for the file! (edited)

Nice model, everything went together very well. Printed in Landu PETG. I had a lot of stringing issues but this is probably because I didn't dry my filament. Everything cleaned up nicely though. Mounting screws all line up. I used socket head screws but unfortunately they collide with the side of the printer and limit the X axis by a few mm on each side. You will not have this problem if you use flat head screws to attach this model.

I used 5 minute epoxy to seal everything up. The epoxy seemed to work well but I will probably have to destroy and reprint the fan duct if the blower fan ever fails. I'm just using some mid-range 5010 blower fans from Amazon.

Part cooling is significantly better than the stock part cooling fan. I ended up turning it down since the fan was so strong it was creating a fluffy clump of stringing from being blown by the fan. Overall, super happy with this model. I'll be keeping it for the foreseeable future.

Eine erhebliche Verbesserung im Verglich zum Original. Danke! :)

do you offer a dual duct adapter to work with model?

Printed in PETG for the standard SV06 with the SV06+ hot end installed. Fits perfectly.

Thanks for this model!! I'm trying to run an SV06 Plus hotend with a Volcano nozzle on my regular SV06, and it's been really challenge to find adequate cooling.

Would you mind sharing the STEP file so I can make adjustments to fit the SV06 printhead?

@Vegan_Empana_1444466 This is a remake of the SV06 variant, so just get the original.

@KaloyanDobrev_752243 And please post how is the volcano nozzle doing, any adjustment you made on the probe and so on.

Printed this in eSUN PETG Fire Engine Red. THe GDStime fan didn't fit the first fan connector I printed so printed another at 102% which fit better yet was still snug.

Not a great seal between the two parts; am going to investigate printing a TPU gasket to go between them.

Yet to mount to the extruder but will post pictures when I do. (edited)

@brendanhaug_1654129 hi, no it doesn’t collide with the gantry. I printed with 3 layer thickness and still has 1 mm gap between back of fan mount and gantry. Strongly recommend using countersunk screws though otherwise the screw head will hit the gantry.

Hot tip, ensure you also have enough clearance for part printing with this mod. My fan collided with a printed part during sequential printing (printing one part after another) and broke the fan mount.

Could you please tell me what size screws are used

@RobertGray_567349 x4 M3 x 25 mm countersunk screws required for rear facing mount
