My son wanted another “coin” and his favorite show is Blaze. To get some accuracy in the outlines, I printed this at 60mm diameter and 2mm thickness (1mm of this is the ring around the outside and the image to give good effect). It can obviously be scaled up or down, but I'm not confident scaling down will produce good results. There is no text on this token but there is enough space to emboss (or deboss). I printed with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.20mm layer height.
Given the thickness, it can be printed in a base color and a top color. You will just need to add the appropriate G code macro such as M600 in your slicer, or however you would normally do this on your printer.
I have reduced the number of triangles significantly to allow for easier processing. The STL and 3MF are outputs from Orca Slicer. Let me know if you have any issues as it's the first time I have used a slicer to reprocess the STL and 3MF.
And of course, I'd love to see your makes!
