CR Touch mount for Sprite extruder with Zero Y offset and +30 X Offset. This X offset is by far smaller than any other zero Y version I have found (most are 40mm+) and is LESS than the stock mount (31.5mm). This mount in conjunction with TT Firmware allowed me to probe much more of the bed and do it much more accurately, which has improved my 1st layer significantly.

The window in the front allows you to see the LED status.

To use this you will need to disassemble your CR touch probe and install the solenoid and electronics into this holder. In developing this I have removed and reinstalled these parts 20+ times without any damage or issue. They are pretty sturdy, but of course be delicate with it, especially the wires. They are unmodified and can be put back in the original housing.

You will also need:

-Extended cable (you can extend the existing cable)

-3x M3 x 18mm screws

Both parts snap in. On the board, be careful to line up the alignment pegs and get the board completely snapped in. The alignment between the board and solenoid is critical, so if it is not properly snapped in and fully seated it won't work.

This is a fully functional version, but could use some cosmetic updates in the future.

If using Marlin, you can use the following gcode (file included, change .txt to .gcode) to set the new offsets. Simply put the file on the SD card, put it in the printer, and “print” it.

M851 X30 Y0 ; set probe offset
M500 ; save config

If using TT firmware on a S1 Pro, the upcoming v25 release will allow the margins to be reduced to X=25 Y=10.
