16mm (5/8 inch) Peg Towel Holder

A minimalist design for mounting a peg towel holder to a wall or towel rail.  These holders will fit a 5/8" (16mm) dowel on which you can hang a towel.  Either a #8 or #6 wood screw can be used to fix the holder to the wall.  Insert the dowel and you have a towel hanger.

I mounted these to a wooden rail and then fixed the rail to the wall for holding towels, but they will direct mount as well.

The dowel used can be of a length that you choose.  I've been using a 2" piece which works well with our bath towels.

Print with the screw side down and your printer will add the ribs inside to keep the dowel well secured.  I use 20% infill with PETG.
