Mounts a Pi-Camera Module to the rear gantry extrusion. When used with a camera module 3 - wide this gives you a complete view of the print bed on a 300mm Trident.
Install
- Mounts using hammerhead or roll-in t-nuts and M3x8.
- Uses M2x10 self-tapping screws to mount module.
- Run the cable through the exhaust and down the back of the printer, use a roughly 1m flex cable and route back in through the skirt on the back to the Pi.
Note
- The front mount has a slight chance of collision with the tool head depending on the depth of your toolhead when making an X move at Y min. I have not had an issue with this, but including a version for the top of the extrusion as well.
- I found Spyglass to be the best way to get a module 3 working with Mainsail… but your mileage may vary.
