Simple Holder for wc23's Seedling Shell.

As far as plant pots go, I do find that model to be one of the best, however, the holder/support is rather resource and time-intensive. As such, I set out to make a simpler model that fits the seedling shells, but can be printed quicker and without supports.

The full model is split into 3, with custom connectors between each part. I've been able to print and connect them without needing any glue, a bit of force was needed to get the parts to clip together, but otherwise, it worked well.

Some notes:

• The stands are intentionally quite thin, this was intentional as the goal for this was to cut down on the used filament. While they look weak, I've not had any problems with it supporting the shells (empty and full).
  • That said, it will snap easily if you try to flex the stands, but that should go without saying.
• The bottom tray could be made a bit higher, this part is there to catch any water runoff.
• I printed this using PLA with 15% Gyroid infill and 3 perimeters.
  • Other than that, everything else was as default under the 0.2mm Structural setting.
• Using the Prusa MK4 you can print 2 parts at once, (I did the top and bottom together, and the middle on its own).

This is a remix of the holder for the shell. It's designed to be a lot simpler and cheaper to print (but be warned, it is not as strong as the original).
