Caliper Holder- Magnetic-Quick Easy Print

As always I will promote and REWARD the first few people to post quality makes (must enable tips on your profile for reward). A quality make is a successful, complete, hopefully decent looking print at 100% scale. Pictures don't need to show it with calipers or mounted but bonus points if it is.

I love my Calipers but it is easy to loose or break tools if i don't mount them in my shop, This mount builds on ideas from I have seen in several other mounts on thingiverse while improving on issues I had with them. I understand there are many options for caliper mounts thank you for checking out my variation.

Design includes:

• Should fit most 150mm Calipers ( and many larger sizes)

• Simple and Quick Printing-no need for supports, rafts brims, or anything complicated.

• Magnetic Catch- not strict necessary and this will work just fine with out a magnet but with magnet it pulls the calipers into the nest in a consistent and sturdy way while still keeping the magnet at a safe distance from the tool

• Economical lift out design, most other mounts have an awkward notch which captures the thumb screw at the back of most calipers, or other obstructions above the caliper making removing them a less natural lean and lift motion, this mounts features a smooth natural up and out lift path You need one 9mm x 3mm neodeium "rare" earth magnet commonly available at big box stores, craft stores, hardware stores, and amazon
