I bought a sack of 50 DC:DC step-up supplies from AliExpress for $20.69 (USD). Being in a sack, I can't readily identify what they are, since I also got 20 step-down buck converters and 10 humidity/temperature sensors. I needed a compact storage box to keep them straight, as the individual ESD bags don't allow me to see the contents very well.

This enclosure keeps the PCB assemblies completely protected so you can stack them in a storage box without fear of damage. If you are, say, running a production line and need to keep the PCB assemblies readily available, you can cut a few millimeters off the top to make them easy to grab. These supplies are super cheap, under about 41 cents each and can convert a single Lithium Ion cell to 5V or 12V or anything from 2 to 24V in to 5 to 28V out. I have yet to test the modules out for their electrical performance but I needed something to store them in, so… here it is. I probably could thin it out a bit to use less plastic, as I have another design that is much lighter for another step-down module.

Ideally, you could print this using ESD-dissipative plastic. I just used PLA for the prototype. Since only the inputs and outputs are exposed leads, and these both have big capacitors on them, the ESD risk is minimal. Kilovolts at picofarads don't charge microfarads very much!
