this game is good.  However, playing is slightly awkward due to the spaces being hex instead of round.  Someone did design a round game board, but most of the pieces here are in hex base.
I had printed some of the pokemon with raised hex bases, but decided to convert them to round bases.  actually not hard to do, to RETROFIT them (and other game pieces)

for the FUTURE, designers might want to consider adding round disk to base.  but for now, here is how to retrofit a circular disk to the hex base.

the HEX (for the board from prusa) is 19.6 mm across the flats of the hex.
so i made a hex INSERT base, of 19.6, with a 2 mm wall, and the floor is 1 mm, and the walls are 3 mm high.

then, i created a circular disk, of 19.32 mm diameter.  This matches the hex distance across flats, of the pokemon play pieces.
I made the disk 1.2 mm high, because the PRUSA game has indents of 1 mm.

then the circular disk gets super-glued to the base of the hex play piece;  this raises it 1.2 mm, so it can be easily inserted into the hex space on the game board, rotated in any direction, and not interfere with the walls of the hex space.  it does not add much weight either.

to glue on the pieces, i made 4 hex boxes.
into the box you place one of the round disks.  then i added 4 drops of glue (did not want it oozing into the hex box), insert the playing piece, able to line it up perfectly.  do 4 at a time, let them sit  a minute or  so, and they now have a circular base  for playing.  take out the pieces, do 4  more, and in 5 minutes or so you're done all the game pieces.

this makes it easier for my grandkids and i to play the game.  i hope you find this useful.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Play pieces are converted to a round base, easier to insert onto the playing board.
