This lamp post is made to fit 5mm LEDs and a coin cell battery holder (I use a CR2032 battery). It was remade from the ground up from this thingiverse listing to house a battery holder and also to make the post and wiring holes wider (6.1mm) to be able to slide a fully crafted LED circuit after printing (see video below). This allows you to swap lighting systems for any future lamp designs you may want!
All of the individual parts are provided and can be printed separately and glued together for best results. The combined version is offered and can be printed upright if your printer can handle some minor bridging sag - this was the sagging inside the base on mine.
The time to clean up the sag vastly outweighed the time to glue the individual pieces together when printing a few of these at once.
Like the original poster, I also glued a strip of parchment paper around mine to allow the light to diffuse more naturally.
The author remixed this model.
